Another Great Week
Saturday, July 18, 2009
We just closed out another great week at ICO. The weather continues to be a challenge, but everyone is in good spirits and busy on the farm. Seed has now been moved from the upweller to our nursery's in Duxbury Bay. Seed that started out around 1mm in size has now grown to 12-15mm and is getting larger by the day. Striped Bass season has also started. Our friends Ben and Boomer Ewing are hard at work delivering the best in this season's Wild Striped Bass. If you have the chance to eat their fish at any of our restaurants in Boston or NYC, you should, its incredible. The most amazing thing about working with Ben and Boomer is they care for their fish like we do our oysters resulting in the highest quality possible.
